February 12th:- I have reached chapter 4, so I feel now that I am moving along with the novel and I’m glad that I did make so many notes from the books I was reading about the period. This is the point where the story has to pick up pace, as the first three chapters laid out the groundwork, established relationships, introduced characters, set up the beginning of tensions and conflicts.
