March 7th 2017: Today’s writing went along okay. I was nervous about it because I was setting my male character up with the Child Cephalina in the Crystal Palace Exhibition in Hyde Park. He had promised he’d take her there, and it was to be the very last meeting. But things happen there that change his plans and he manages to convince himself that her responses to him are those of a child. It’s all rather delicate ground. Anyway, there is no going back for him now.
I’m almost through chapter ten and have 31 thousand words in the manuscript. In the meanwhile, my frogs for whom I built the pond have spawned, so I guess they are happy. But that’s nothing to do with writing…. I must concentrate!
